Dear Rajkumar,

It is always hard to hear of one so young suffering with Geographic (map) Tongue. The good news is that children often "outgrow" GT primarily because they stop being picky eaters and start getting all the nutrients they need from their diet. There are several keys for kids.

1) Get the proper nutrition
2) Establish proper intestinal flora
3) Eat as few sweets, artificial colors and preservatives as possible.
4) Eliminate any yeast problems.
5) Eliminate any irritants, and food allergies like SLS in toothpaste

The book covers #1,#2, #4 and #5 in several different ways in different places.

Pay particular attention to the chapter on children but remember everything that applies to geographic tongue in adults also applies to children. The only thing is the vitamin dosages are smaller.

In the upper left corner of every page is a link called How to Order Healthy Tongue Secrets. Just click that and it will take you to the proper page.

Be sure to read the update bonus report. And let me know how your son is doing after a month.

To Your Health (and your son's),

Dear Charlene,

Glad we could help. It is still amazing to me how many problems like the "symptoms of menopause" you mentioned can be solved through simple nutritional means.

Lynda,

From what you said it looks like the gastric bypass and reflux are probably the primary causes of your problems. The book does cover dry mouth, and burning mouth syndrome (which can be related to your teeth by the way) so it will be interesting to see if you have any improvement after having them removed. If you can't absorb the vitamins you may have to look into getting injections as I do. That way the vitamins are not dependant upon your digestive system.

From Healthy Tongue Secrets -BMS and Dry Mouth (p.82)
Burning Mouth Syndrome (BMS) is often accompanied by dry mouth and/or a bitter or metallic taste in the mouth. In some cases, this condition may be associated with Vitamin B12 deficiency, oral yeast infection (Candida Albicans), or even irritation from dentures.
Some other Causes are:
•	Endocrine disturbances
•	Vitamin deficiency
•	Medications (side effects)
• Diabetes mellitus
• Erosive Candida infections

(P.93) A coated tongue is common in people with dry mouth as well as people who are under stress. Also people with dry mouth are often more likely to have cavities than other people. A white-coated tongue is often believed to indicate intestinal putrification caused by a lack of sufficient fiber in the diet or because of intestinal impaction caused by improper emptying of the colon.

Also read the section called Dry Mouth, Hairy Tongue and Burning Mouth Syndrome on page 10 of the bonus called “Mouth Problems.pdf” This deals with this issue in depth.

I have found Therabreath Oral Rinse to be very helpful for dry mouth and also combined with Therabreath toothpaste to be soothing for mouth pain . See here:

Finally, excessive thirst and dry mouth can be related to diabetes or Sjogren's Syndrome so you might want to have your doctor check on that.

Larry,

You definately have to narrow it down from 4 pages! That is why I created the brief "Where to Start" guide. It is not just a table of contents but also contains a great vitamin program created by a board certified doctor along with other helpful information. I would start with his program.
If you read nothing else this would be extremely helpful.

The "Update Report" is also short but contains some interesting
research on Zinc and its importance in creating a healthy tongue. It also contains other research supporting the idea that you can actually improve your tongue.

From there the next thing I would read is the "Healthy Tongue
Secrets" book itself. It is quite long and you can skip the
backround about me if you'd like, although it might give you some information on where I am coming from and how I got where I am today.

You might be tempted to skip straight to the geographic tongue
chapter but that would be a mistake. I think all of the tongue
problems are related. So even though it might seem like a
totally different problem often you will pick up helpful
information even though it isn't in the "right" chapter.

So if you have skipped any of the chapters I strongly recommend
that you go back and look at them and don't forget the tables at the back of the book that detail the individual vitamins and how they each affect your tongue. You might be able to use the associated deficiency symptoms to determine exactly which vitamin is your problem.

Often yeast and thrush go "hand-in-hand" with tongue problems so if you are experiencing anything like fatigue, allergies, ring worm, rashes, athletes foot or any other yeast related issue, you should look at the yeast bonus next.

Well, that should be enough to get you started on the road to a
healthy tongue. Let me know if there is any way I can help!

P.S.
"Methuselah's Secret" is about the importance of something we all take for granted (I won't spoil the secret by telling you what it is here). But it may actually be the root cause of most disease and even cancer. So don't skip it just because it sounds funny.

Lawrae,

It looks like at the moment you have mostly tongue fissures or cracks. I only see a small hint of the white rings on the side. Definately check out the chapter in the Healthy Tongue Secrets Book on Tongue Fissures! Good Luck.
