Are tongue problems cramping your social life? It is characterized by a variety of small cracks or “fissures” covering the surface. These fissures can be short and spread evenly over the surface of the tongue or they can be connected into long slashes.

Even though the medical establishment may simply lump them together… Wouldn’t it make more sense that these are two entirely different problems with two entirely different solutions?

Well, that’s exactly what we’ve found…

But worse than just lumping them together is the medical establishment’s lack of concern. Because tongue problems aren’t considered life threatening they have been relegated to the back burner… with very little research being done on them. The medical establishment has a word for this…  it is called “subclinical”… which basically means it isn’t serious enough for them to worry about.

As a matter of fact, there is an organization called NORD – The National Organization for Rare Disorders, Inc. that lists Geographic Tongue on it’s list of “orphan diseases”.

What does that mean? Well, my friend… it means that if you are waiting for the scientific community to come up with a solution, you are going to have to wait a very long time… because they aren’t even looking!

You see the list of “orphan diseases” is a list that NORD compiles hoping someone will “adopt” one of these diseases and start looking for a solution. But at this point not many are looking.
